Become a Lowell Red Devil Cheer Coach!
All returning and new coach candidates must submit an application via the link below. The cheer director will review and select coaches best fit for the teams. The selection of coaches is determined exclusively by the cheer director and board, and all decisions to approve or deny coaching candidates are final.
***Coaches from 2025-2026 cheer season will be relieved of their duties once their season is complete. Returning coaches will have to reapply for their position. Performance from 2025-2026 season will be evaluated to help decide coaching positions for 2026-2027 season.

We hold our coaches to the highest standard.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Completing and turning in all required paperwork and training certificates
- Attending a Mandatory Hands-On Clinic June 13th
- Passing the required background check provided by Lowell Pop Warner
- Ensuring each athlete is eligible to play, and enforcing that athletes who are ineligible do not participate
- Being responsible for the conduct of players, coaching staff, and spectators
- Attendance for all games, practices, competitions, and events for your team
- Create showcase/competition routine
- Regularly communicating with your team in a professional manner
- Attend all pre-season meetings
- Wearing approved coaches attire while on the sideline and/or at competitions
- Be responsible for and maintain all equipment (mats, signs, poms, etc..)
